Cashmere
For cashmere knits, hand wash with a mild detergent like Woolite,
Baby Shampoo or Essence. Instead of wringing or
squeezing the water out, place the sweater in a colander and press
the water out to prevent stretching. Lay it flat on a towel
and reshape it as it dries. Fold to store.
Mohair
Mohair requires some delicate handling, but when cared for
correctly it will last a very long time:
To Groom: Use a small
brush to groom - use gentle strokes to ease out any tangles
Washing: Use tepid
water and a mild handwashing detergent for best results.
Never pull or wring your garment, but gently squeeze the water
out. Rinse in cool water and then lay flat to dry on a
towel. When in doubt, read the manufacturer tags or take to
a dry cleaner
